My family became homeless about 3 weeks ago. Just trying to find a place for our family to stay each night has become a nightmare. Now my 12 yr old son will be starting school in a week and a half and I am unable to buy any school supplies, clothing, shoes, and he needs new glasses. Please any help would be greatly appriciated.

HEllo I have a 17 year old teenage daughter born with Downe's Syndrome at birth she will be a senior this school year I am in need of jeans a size 18 maybe 19 in Juniors I need some long sleeve tops for cool mornings or tee shirts that come down to her elbow  I would appreciate also any information on what websites I can go to also.Thanks  to everyone and God bless 

i really need to talk to someone i am in a bad place my son is in jail for child support and he needs a 1000 dollars. i nhave really bad credit and my family can not help me . i feel there is no hope left i am usually very strong but i feel weak. i need somebodies help but where can i turn.my other son goes back to school in a few weeks and i dont have the money to buy his school clothes i dont know what i am going to do  im under a lot of stress

I can't work due to health reasons and my husband can't pay all the bills and we still need school clothes and supplies for my son where can I go for help when I'm told that my house hold limit exceeds the limits?

I am the mother of two teenage boys in Maysville, Ky.  I was laid-off February 18, 2009.  Since the lay off we had to move into a house that I could afford on unemployment.  I found out last week that I have only two checks left and I may not qualify to get an extension.  I have had a few interviews but no call backs and I am terrified.  How am I to pay for a place to live and utilities.  School will be starting back soon and I have no money for supplies and new clothes, my oldest is wearing shoes with holes in them; with the unemployment it is not enough to pay the bills I have...I don't know what to do.  If anyone can help at all I would be most grateful.

here i am sittin here on a saturday night, again, trying to find some help out of this hole that i'm in! i often sit here and wonder how did it get to this? less than 2 yrs ago i was married to the father of my children, living on a ranch that he worked at for the last 5 yrs. stay at home mom of 2 beautiful babies! and now??? i'm 2 yrs (almost) down the road living in a rent house that is severly behind in rental payments, no job, divorced & no financial help from him! see, i got a job right before we had to move to this house. but lost it because of my child being sick one day when the boss was in a "mood" and the manager told me it was ok to leave! i had worked everytime they needed me to even days i wasnt scheduled. then i lost my job. that was over a yr ago and i still have no job! i have applied for several, several jobs in this town, but nothing ever works out! i would love to have a job to be able to take care of my children on my own!! o, i should not forget the father! he went and acted stupid with a couple of his lil childish friends and did some things that he shouldnt and now we are divorced and he has been in jail for over a yr now! so now you know why i have no help from him. the landlord has been really great here and we have gotten to stay. we are so far behind that i'm not sure of the total anymore! i'll have to get with them and let ya know. i know it is at least $3,000. so that is why i'm on here! just trying to find some ways to help me help myself! please help if you can with any answers!! thanx for listening!             

Hello, I am a mother of 2 teenage boys. I am in desperate need of school clothes for them this year. They have outgrown just about everything. My oldest only has about 4 shirts and a couple of pairs of pants that he can still wear. My youngest has some of the hand me downs from the other son.

 Bills have just stompped us and I can not afford to get them anything for school. With the power outages here we lost all the food in our freezer, went out and replaced some only to have the power go out again 4 days later. That and gas has killed us. With all the extras and losses we have nothing to get them clothes with. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. About $400 would be enough, $200 each would get them some shirts, pants, shoes, backpacks with school supplies. If anyone could help with anything it would be so much appreciated.

Hello, i am a mother of 2 children ages 13 and 14.  My 13 year old son has a genetic disease known as LCHAD.  It is a disorder that doesn't allow the body to metabolize fats and sugars from his liver.

Many health problems are associated with this disease like heart problems, liver problems, failing kidneys, blindness, weak immune system and muscel deterioration. My son suffers from all the above.

Anyway, his MA was cancelled for whatever reason and now I am having problems paying for all of his 13 different medications.  Some are inexpensive but some are quite spendy like one of them which is called "MCT" oil which goes for over $300 a bottle. Most average between $25 and $100 per prescription.

I do work but after I pay the necessities it makes it hard to buy his medications.

I could also use help getting my kids some decent school clothes which I haven't had the money to do yet.

Please help me if you can...

I need help in the area of buying winter clothes for my children. I managed to scrape up enough to buy their supplies, and a few clothes at rummage sales to start them off at school. Hi there my name is Rhonda i get a social security check on my 2 girls when there father passed away and a small child support on my son  i need help in buying them school clothes coming up in August,I don't have no extra money it goes to bills.This has been a rough time for me cause my oldest daughter who is out of school was in a wreck and totaled my car she was in the hospital for 31 days while i watched my grandson who is a year and a half,it has been hard for us to catch a ride or anything.We are still going thru court for the wreck,but i need help in buying my 3 kids there school clothes.

MAKING 7.50 AN HR WOULD ONLY PAY FOR THE DAYCARE. I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A HORRIBLE LOOP I NEED MONEY TO WORK AND I NEED TO WORK TO GET MONEY. I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN. I DON'T EVEN HAVE GOOD TRANSPORTATION.  THIS MAN HAS LEFT ME WITH NOTHING HE HAS NOT EVEN CALLED TO CHECK ON HIS KIDS SINCE HE LEFT WHICH HAS NOW BEEN ALMOST A YEAR.  I REALLY NEED SOME HELP AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO TURN. I am a single mother of two boys-ages 3 and 4.  I am currently working as a cena in a nursing home.  My wages do not allow me to pay my rent of $585, and keep the lights on too.  My fiance lost his job do to shortage of work, and we are behind in our rent.  Since we have been such good renters for two years, our landlord has been patient with us up until this point.  We just got custody of my fiance's 10 year old daughter in January of this year because her mother is a meth addict.  We have no where to go if we are evicted, and we are so ashamed and disgusted that we cannot even provide for our own children.  I want to go to school to become an LPN but cannot afford to go part-time at work to attend classes.  My fiance has been looking for work every day that I don't work, but it seems that there is nobody hiring for a certified diesel mechanic.  And just today the brakes went out on our car.  We work so hard, and it seems like as soon as we take one step forward, we fall two steps back.  If we had some financial help to pay off some of our past debts, and catch up on rent and other bills, it could buy us some time until my fiance can find a job.  I can't do it all by myself.  Where is the help out there?
